Workplace Bullying: It Can't Be Legal, Can It?

STOP POVERTY IN AMERICA BY STOPPING WORKPLACE BULLYING whereever you see it ... by SPEAKING UP like in school ... NO BULLYING AT OUR WORK PLACE!

Today we are discussing the legal problems it causes the owners, managers, and other members of the workforce.. SHAME ON THOSE WHO LET THIS HAPPEN in their job and don't be a part of the problem be a part of the solution by encouraging your job to start a NO BULLYING reward program, no put downs, etc... No one should have to stand for this.

Another case of work bullying...
I personally know a salesman that worked for a photography company that LOCKED a girl in a bathroom OVERNIGHT who refused to mess around with him.

Sexual harrassment, bullying, etc.. can go together.

Did you know that if someone as simply as puts their leg up and won't let you by can be considered sexual harrassment.. as preventing someone from doing their job , refusing to train them, or holding them back ... The Law looks at such things. Work place bullying can be silence and ignoring as well.

Obviously we aren't talking about the day to day enjoyment of relationships in the workplace we are talking here of the Deliberate REPEATED offenders who do not have anyones good at heart and bully like wife abusers they don't get better they just act out more openly as time goes on and unfortunately many owners KNOW about the activities but REFUSE to respond as they themselves are afraid of lawsuits and confrontations and retaliations. Very foolish. Deal with your problems like a garden address the issues and nine times out of ten the problems will cause some buzz and maybe a temper tantrum by the bully but then you will have a safe happy productive workforce again. It is like a cancer eventually someone will come in and confront the bully in the workforce and silence isn't golden for owners and bosses in these cases. If you are a boss and work for a owner who refuses to address this ...consider a new job... you may be the fall guy and get sued yourself best to find out the laws in your state and that you are protected legally.
